Free Roam mode is a core element of multiplayer gameplay in Red Dead Redemption. In free roam up to 16 players can be in a lobby. Players can form a posse of up to 8. In free roam you can do different activites like, a gang raid, go to a hunting groung or engage other possies. You can also set up an organized multiplayer game mode while in free mode. Expeirence Points are also awarded. There are a total of 50 levels to achieve. Leveling up can earn you new mounts, titles, and new gang types to select your pre-made character from. The known available horse types are El Senor (Donkey), Luistano Nag, and Turkman. The available pre-made characters can be selected from certain factions. The factions are Miners, Rebelbes, Dutch's Gang, Walton's Gang, Cattle Rustlers, American Army, Federales, Lawmen, and Marshals.
